Hello my viewers,
I absolutely love garlic and eat it all the time not only because it is flavorful but because it is nature's best antibiotic and blood cleanser! I can remember a trip one time when I drove up the entire coastline of California. Somewhere between the LA area and Frisco area I began to smell garlic and I mean a very strong and continuous smell of garlic wafting on the wind. After 20 minutes of this, I was nearly crazed with the hunger for some good Italian food and garlic rolls which I promptly searched for in local restuarant area. Later I discovered that there were fields and fields of garlic being grown in that section of California and the aroma on the wind was powerful because they were harvesting at that time! I saw truck loads of garlic bunches on their way to market moving by me, but thank goodness, once I had my fix, I was ok to continue driving through.

Posted by Bibi Farber on January 4, 2014
Garlic may be the most important, truly life-saving vegetable you can easily grow at home. It has an almost unending list of miraculous healing properties.
In addition to being delicious, it has been scientifically proven that garlic lowers the levels of cholesterol and blood pressure; strengthens the immune system; prevents arteriosclerosis; helps disintegrate bladder stone, kidney stone, and gallstone; purifies the blood; and has strong antibiotic and antifungal properties.
Garlic is very useful in the relief of bronchial coughs, asthma, head colds, as a laxative and to prevent intestinal gas.
In addition to garlic's sulfur compounds that boost the immune system, garlic contains natural antioxidants that may help to explain its strong anticancer and anti-tumor activity.
Not bad for a little bulb that anyone can grow anywhere virtually for free! This video will show you how easy it is to plant garlic in containers.
